Potluck Party

Potluck party has been suggested few days back to be on Monday, 06Jul2009, because of the Youth day, so most of the mums can't make it and prefer have it on Friday, which is today!

Here is the list of delicious foods prepared.

1) Curry chicken
2) Fried carrot cake
3) Tomyam Chicken Fusili
4) Fried rice vermicelli with bb sausage
5) Kueh-kueh from Bangawan Solo
6) Krupuk
7) Chocolate cake
8) Old Chang Kee
9) Salad
10) Chicken Murtabak
11) Beef satay

Specially thanks to Karen (KP) for opening up her lovely house for all of us! Beside curry chicken, she also prepared paper plate, fork+spoon, plus drinks too! So nice of her!

I really don't mind opening up my house for gathering, but have to wait till I get a bigger house first! Now I am staying in a 3room HDB flat, so can't fit in too many mums and babies.

What so special about this chocolate cake that I posted here? Every cake that we buy will donate to little Charmine, a 4 year old girl who is suffering from neuroblastom. Isn't that meaningful to raise some fund for her?

Feel so sad after reading! Really have to treasure our love one when they are healthy and still around with us, don't take things for granted!

Ok, now back to our potluck party. Babies taking nap while mums enjoying their food and chatting. Is nice to meet up with some new mum but on the spot I didn't have the change to chat with them, they are too busy with their crying baby.
