Hang About

United Square is my hang about place for this few days.

Coincidence that all my appointment for yesterday, today and tomorrow is at United Square, so weird! Luckily my lunch for tomorrow is at Bakerzin, or else will develop phobia eating fish and chips. Hahaha... ...

Today managed to bought a scooter at ELC as a birthday present for Wayne. The box is quite big, really having a hard time to find a place to hide. We have to hide the box before he comes back, with no where left, finally decided to hide in my wardrobe. Hopefully he doesn't spot his birthday present!

Block Nose

Enya couldn't sleep throughout the night due to her nose block and causes her having difficulty in breathing, even I can't feed her probably. Poor thing, seeing her fighting for breath makes my heart pain!

During the day, her condition improves and she sleeps soundly, only wakes up for feeding then again she fall asleep. Missed out the morning and afternoon session to visit the doctor, drag till evening then manged to go.

Only nose drops medication given, require 1 drop each side 3 times a day, here the 22 dollars goes.

Enya's First Hair Cut

Celebrated Enya's full month on 31May2009, either we are not ready or just simply too busy, till today then we have the time to shave her head.

Here goes Enya, still having her hair on.

Result: Not that satisfied, still have to touch up a bit here and there!

Enya's mummy just wonder - Shaving baby's head in order for their hair to grow in thicker and fuller is a fact or myth?
I have no answer, but still follow.

OMG! See what are they doing, making funny faces while taking some sweet memories of them!

HepB Vaccine

Enya's 1st dose of HepB was not taken at birth, so end up have to take it at Polyclinic. Woke up at 9am, have myself change, as hubby help me to pack everything that bb Enya need to bring out.

Not going out early then 9:30am, to avoid the peak hour surcharge. You will tend to get heart attack with the sum of surcharge during peak hours and I don't really like the feeling of seeing every 20cents increase from the meter. Nowadays really have to save some money! Feeling every single cent is so important to me. Here we go! Sharing a cab with hubby, drop me at TYP Polyclinic then heading to his office.

At this period of time, whenever you go, there will be a counter at the entrance door to register your particulars and temperature before letting you enter to their premises. Surprise me when I entered, hardly see the crowd at the registration counter. Where are the patients? Avoiding the H1N1?

Walked towards to the machine and scan her booklet for queue number. Enya and I waited outside Room48, 2nd level, for her number to be call. Surprise me, waiting time was just less then 10minutes! As usual, measure her weight, she is now 4.98kg and head circumference is 37cm, then follow with Q&A session, nurse taking down all her particulars and fill up the assessment portion, proceed to doctor for physical examination then back to the nurse again for the HepB vaccination.

Will Enya gets cranky after the injection? During day time, she is fine but comes to bed time at night then she really makes a big fuss and refuse to sleep. Hubby and I tried all sorts of method still can't put her to sleep.

Here she is, she feel more secure when daddy put her on his chest.

At last everyone in peace! She is sleeping so soundly now! Daddy has a good rest as well!

Enya In Sling

On every gathering I attended, seeing so many mummies using sling with confidence, really gives me motivation to try out and use it.

Luckily yesterday I bring my sling along to the April mummies gathering and learn it from Kris and Marie. If I don't try out and learn, the sling will forever stay in my wardrobe. In order to practice more, I have to sling Enya out more often, that means I will shop more. Hahaha... ...

Here I am, back from TPY Polyclinic, today first time carrying Enya out with the sling!

Yes, practice make perfect! Now I am more confidence with the sling.

Mums And Babes Gathering

Here our April2009 MTBs 2nd gathering on 01Jun2009 at Vivo City, Earle Swensen's. Total of 21 mummies, 19 babies, 5 children and 3 hubbies attended. Too bad that I didn't manage to capture which of the 5 kids and the 3 hubbies attended. I should try to do it for our next coming gathering.
