2nd Hand LG Prime Bumper Playmat

Recently I notice that I owned lots of 2nd hand stuff, 1st started with clothes, follow by bumbo seat, now I bought over a 2nd hand LG Prime Thomas Train bumper playmat, playmat size is 2300mm*1400mm*15inch and deal at $120. I think I make a good deal!



Why 2nd hand? I think because I am not going to have 3rd baby, and I have no idea who shall I hand them down to. So best choice is go for 2nd hand, don't need to scratch head where to dispose off if I no longer need it and I will not feel heart pain if I move it to the trash bin.

Down With Stomach Flu

Hubby and my girl down with stomach flu. I have no idea where they get it from. Really tough for me to handle, imagine that taking care hubby and Enya, plus with my active boy around, I am really exhausted.

This has to start on last Friday! Hehehe... ... Like telling story! Spotted some rashes on Enya's back when I bath her. At that moment, I though that maybe due to the hot weather, so just apply some liquid talc on the rashes area before I dress her.

Saturday, she started to have loose bowels, estimated 2-3times a day, a little greenish type but the amount of poo not that much. No fever trigger, rashes on her back subside but mild rashes found on her tummy. She was quite active, so no action taken on that day.

On Sunday, first thing in the early morning, Enya poo, hubby clean her up and feedback to me that he feel a layer of oil on his palm while washing her bum. I experienced too after 2 hours later. Her condition still the same as Saturday, only increased to 4-5 times loose bowels. I fed her more frequent at 3 hours interval. As for hubby, he starts to feel nauseous in the afternoon, for the day he end up frequently visited the toilet, he vomited, diarrhea and his fever hits 38.7c.

Monday, that is today, make me panic! It really scared me when I saw her, rashes spread all over her body - her forehead, on her back, even found rashes on her chest and tummy. I feel so worried, should have say, I feel more guilty rather than worried. Guilty in such a way that I have not realise it earlier to have her suffer with rashes and loose bowels for so many days but luckily no fever.

Here the rashes on her back and bum! There are some on her head too!

Accompany hubby and Enya to GP, just at the neighbourhood area. After diagnosed, both of them confirm caught stomach flu. Not very sure what is it actually, some medical term uses by GP when explaining, only what I care most is their condition not as serious as I thought! Advice to rest more, drink more water, some food not advice to take (eg: oily, spicy food, milk and etc). Lastly, most important, here goes $31 for each!

Towards evening, hubby recovered, no more diarrhea, no vomitting, and no fever. Rashes on Enya's body subsided after applied cream for her.

18 Weeks 5 Days Old

Went for her 5 in 1, 2nd jab. As usual after jab, she cried then settle down. She had fever in the evening but not for the 1st jab.

Update on her growth:
Weighted at 7.38kg
Head Circumference is 41.5cm

Her development at this stage:

• Not only she can flip (from tummy to back and back to tummy), she can also roll from left to right, and vice-versa.
• Move her arms and squirm when excited.
• At dangling objects, she will move her hands toward it to grab.
• Able to sit with her hands balancing herself in front (like tripod position).

• Smiling back when I give her a smile.
• Lastly, now she can grab her Sophie with both of her hands.

Enya sleeps so soundly while we do our shopping. Good girl!

Lovely Bumbo Seat

Here she is, tuck her in after cleaning up the bumbo seat. My girl only sustain for 5minutes, hopefully she will get used to the bumbo.

I have confident that she will, I think so, as there were so many positive comments about it. To myself - No worries, ok!

Oh, ya, here is the preloved bumbo seat that I have bought over, rated condition as 9/10 and cost $35. This afternoon I collected it.

I am quite satisfied with the bumbo seat, overall condition were excellent, really no complaint, after all I have save up to $15.

One thing that I need to mention here is that I have picked a colour that my hubby likes. Hurray!

Out For The Day With My Girl

Today meeting some mummies for dim sum lunch at Meritius Mandarin Pine Court, due to number of mummies turning up are low, so venue changed to 'Char Chan Teng' at basement2.

Initial plan were lunch then go Taka baby fair. However, I am earlier by 1 1/2 hour, so I do my shopping first, then lunch. Walked few rounds yet to spot any, there were nothing worthwhile for me to grab, so disappointed! Some mummy commented, is a baby fair not baby sale, so don't expect much. One thing that I like was there was no crowd, especially during weekday's morning.

I have collected some information but don't know how true it is for the bumbo baby seat.

Audrey: "May I know what and why makes the bumbo seat discolouration?"
Promoter: "Is due to contact on the surface. Most of the discolouration area is the inner part."
Audrey: "So what is the lifespan for the bumbo?"
Promoter: "5 years, and depends the usage."

I find myself asking some silly question but still coming out from my mouth,
"Why a sudden the price so much cheaper then before?"
Promoter: "Is due to the currency exchange. US currency drop so the price drop.", but hubby disagreed.
Audrey: "Thanks!"

Selling price for the bumbo baby seat is $49.90, really is a good price to grab! Really can't resist on buying and tempted to those lovely bumbo on the shelf. With second thoughts, I will still prefer to go for a 2nd hand bumbo seat, managed to get one with condition rated as 9/10, selling at $35 without try.

Bumbo Seat Trial

Thanks to one of the mummy offers her little gal's bumbo seat for Enya to try. Pay her a visit after meet up with my friends for lunch at Woodlands Causeway Point.

I had heard a lot of good things about this bumbo seat, and on it's website claim that their product won all these awards. It's pretty cool!

Here she is, sitting on the bumbo seat happily! She looks so funny in it and makes both mummies laugh and laugh so much.



I was surprised that she could sit up in this on her own. I took another photo of her with Raeann while she was still sitting in it!
